Sharing (and Printing) Full-Size Pictures on Facebook Made Easy
Social networks connect us with friends and family in ways that weren’t imaginable in years past. We maintain that sense of community in our online world by sharing personal updates, events with our friends, and photos from our daily lives. Facebook acts as one of the central hubs where we share our pictures. However, there is a downside to photo quality when we upload photos directly to Facebook.
Our high-resolution photos uploaded to Facebook automatically downsize to about 100KB or less. These photos, when viewed on Facebook, appear to be of excellent quality. However, when you compare them to the original picture, you can see the difference. If you download photos from Facebook later, you will receive rather small, lower resolution images that will not produce excellent prints.
With the quality of the images affected, you may ask yourself, “Are there any alternatives out there to keep their original size and quality without sacrificing the efficiency of posting them to Facebook?” With a dotphoto subscription, the answer is a resounding yes!
With your dotphoto subscription, you can get framed photo prints of your favorite pictures, and you can also share your dotphoto albums to Facebook while keeping their full-sized images intact – up to 36 megapixels! Once the album posts to Facebook, your friends can click the photo and are taken to the full album in dotphoto. The following infographic shows you how:
dotphoto even uses the Facebook commenting system so that, when your friends make comments and interact with the shared photos in dotphoto, their comments appear on your Facebook post as well. You can maintain the same level of community that Facebook provides without sacrificing your pictures’ quality and size.
Publishing your albums from dotphoto to Facebook is entirely optional. To share, all you have to do is check the box at the bottom of your album that says, “Share to Facebook.” You can save all of your full-size photos and easily share them with your friends and family too. You and family can also print high-resolution prints on dotphoto for as little as 8 cents per print with free shipping of any order over $10.
A dotphoto subscription enables you to share your full-size and high-quality photos to Facebook, and you can also use those same photos to create personalized photo calendars and more to share your memories. Visit our website at dotphoto.com and learn more about a dotphoto subscription today!
