Why is there a scissors icon on my project page and how can I get rid of it?

 The scissors icon indicates that you are in a mode where you can cut, trim or enlarge content to fill a space. You can ignore the the scissors icon if you prefer:  it will not print.  However, the icon may be telling you that you have additional space around the photo that you can fill in for a more pleasing design.

The scissor icon most often occurs when laying out a dotphoto book.
