My camera phone has captured some amazing things – including a video of my wife teaching six-year-olds how to cheer. Betsy LaMere has worked as an artist and photographer for over twenty years. Well know for her equine pen and ink drawings, LaMere's photography reveals the same appreciation for a broad range of subjects, capturing detail and emotion; expressing her love of nature and its endless inspiration.

Her work has been included in numerous exhibits throughout the United States and Canada, has won many awards for excellence, as well as being featured in several national magazines. LaMere currently works out her studio at home on the forty acre farm in Kent, New York, where she resides with her four children, husband Michael, and beloved animal companions too numerous to name.
