The Darlington Recreation Department staged its annual “Daddy/Daughter Date Night” on Feb. 9, where – after enjoying a meal and getting a keepsake portrait taken – girls ages 4 and older hit the floor and danced the night away with their favorite fellas: their dear old dads and granddads. This annual event is very well-attended, and ticket sales provide a great fundraising source for vital city recreation programs.
