McAllister Towing and Transportation Company is one of the world's oldest and largest firms in the business, dating back to the mid 19th-century. Its management continues to be under direction of McAllister family members. Its large fleet of over 60 boats dispersed in many principal harbors of the eastern U.S. includes a great many "traditional" ship-assist tugs, while at the same time the company was among the pioneers in the adoption of modern "tractor" style tugboats that are more powerful and vastly more maneuverable than earlier designs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT THE PRICES - IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ.
