On the 20th, we spent a domestic morning with me taking multiple photos of my sister's artwork (a posting to follow later!). Then, that afternoon we trooped over to the nearby small town, Stony Stratford, to explore and Christmas shop. The next day outing was for exploration! Joan, Hanne, Teri, Christine and I took off from Milton Keynes for a drive through several small communities, which included some time in Oxford. We then went on to Avebury and then Stonehenge. We found it fascinating that we should just happen to be there at Winter Solstice.
