The botanical collection at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park includes more than 260 endangered species of aloes, cacti, euphorbias, cycads, zamias, proteas, palms, and agaves. Our North African cypress is one of only 12 left in the world. Many of these rare and wonderful plants are found in special gardens maintained with the help of dedicated volunteer gardeners, with several of the gardens offering tours, as indicated.
