After a drive through Napa Valley, we pulled into Redding RV Park about 2:30. We then learned of Lake Shasta Caverns about 15 miles north. The last tour was at 4:00, so we hightailed it and caught the 3:30 group. This is triple treat -- you take a boat across the lake, and then a small bus half way up the mountain, and only then do you start the caverns exploration.
