This was my first time seeing Video Star which featured the former singer of the M-80s (who is also the bass player for Metal Skool) and also the drummer of Metal Skool and The Thornbirds. They perform an entertaining mix of songs from the 80's. The week before I had run into Travis at an Atomic Punks show because the singer gave him a shout out, otherwise I don't think I would have noticed him in the crowd. He was friendly, as always, and mentioned he was still playing at the Burbank Bar & Grill, but with a different band (not the M-80's).
