The Firebaugh Expedition successfully climbed Fremont Peak (el. 13,745) the third highest mountain in WY on Aug. 20, 2009. It was Morris' third climb, Steve's second climb, and Ray (age 10) and Max (age 7) first climb of this magnificent mountain. The six-day backpack trip required 3 days to cover 20 miles to the base, one day for the climb, and 2 days out.
