IV Simposio Internacional de Esculturas - Barva, Heredia - Costa Rica

Today was a typical sunny and warm February 22 here in Costa Rica.

My son and I took a short drive to Barva, Heredia to meet with Peter & Milyn Christopher with their new baby Rosalinda - site owners of Central-America-Forum.com.

We enjoyed the weather, a band in the park, a lunch of pizza, good conversation and a sculpting exhibition titled "IV Simposio Internacional de Esculturas - Barva 2009" organized by the Asociaci�n Barva Escult�rica and sponsored by CREDOMATIC.

The live art show featured 10 sculptors from 3 countries; Costa Rica, United States and Cuba. It was a dusty but interesting scene as the artists turned huge white rock boulders into artwork with hammers, chisels and electric grinders.
