A visit to Petra - "The Rose-Red City half as old as time". A fantastic place (although the buggy ride was a "bit" bone-jarring). I was dragged Backward! through the city - probably a mile. The Valley of the Kings, and Queens, Karnak and Luxor Temples (Luxor Temple is right off the main street - amazing). And the cruise on the nile - definitely something everyone should do. But it's so fantastic getting up close and personal to the pyramids and the sphinx - that traffic is forgotten - and one travels back thousands of years.
