The Glens of Antrim These are valleys that head out to the Antrim Coast which is in Northern Ireland. The people Lisa and I were staying with took us out for a tour of the Antrim Coast and this is the beginning of it. This was definitely my favorite part of Ireland

Dunlace Castle, Antrim Coast This is probably my favorite castle of all I have ever seen. You can't beat the setting on the edge of the cliff. Although it has proved to be dangerous when the kitchen fell into the sea one night with the servants in it!

Dingle Peninsula Lisa and I took a 25+ mile bike ride around the Dingle Peninsula. It ended up being a lot harder than we anticipated. It was very windy! The scenery was beautiful though and we did enjoy ourselves.

Dublin This was our first experience of Ireland. We spent two days in Dublin and both of us were ready to get out of the big city and see the countryside.

Cliffs of Moher These cliffs are on the west coast near the burren. It was so windy this day if you stood near the edge you would have been blown off. That didn't stop us from looking over. These are the highest cliffs in Ireland

Kinsale This was one of our favorite places. Charles fort was definitely a highlight. Be sure to notice the color of the buildings. They won the Tidy Town competition.

Galway We weren't too impressed with this city mostly cause it seems once you have seen one big city, you have seen them all. The cathedral was interesting though and we heard some more good music.

Dingle This was a funny little town on a penninsula in western Ireland. It is famous for its traditional music in the pubs and the fact that there are more sheep here than people.

Sunset, Antrim Coast You may be slightly confused as to how all the pictures look so different when they were taken at the same time, but it is because i kept changing the setting on my camera. I was quite impressed with how different it could make things look.

Giant's Causeway This is one of those natural wonders you have to see to believe. They are a result of volcanic activity in the area, probably during the flood. The rocks that it is made of are anywhere from 4-12 sided and some of them are perfectly proportioned.

Doolin For some reason I felt so isolated out in this strange little town. There was absolutely nothing happening here accept for some good traditional music in the pubs that night. The coastline was certainly beautiful though.

The Burren These pictures were taken from the bus so they aren't the best quality, but it gives you a glimpse of what the landscape in this part of western Ireland was like.

The Bear Does Ireland Not entirely sure on the dates, but I got a little tired of the scenic pictures with people in. So I figured I'd take some of Ireland from the Bear's perspective. (His name's Custard, in case you're wondering.)

Inishmore We took a ferry over and enjoyed a minibus tour with one of the locals. This is a gaeltacht area which means that Gaelic is their first language.
